Project Defeating Sedentarism This project’s goal is to defeat sedentarism by increasing awareness about how important it is to practice regular physical activity, and how reducing the amount of time you spend in a sedentary mode will positively affect your mental health. A sedentary person, according to the parameters established by the World Health Organization, is one that does not meet the minimum daily recommended physical activity (https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/physical-activity), or spends more than three continuous hours without physical activity. You do not need to be an expert in any sport or spent a lot of money to overcome a sedentary life. You do not need to lose weight, or train for a marathon. Let’s defeat Sedentarism together!!
